  • MISC.INFO: Daniel was in the 12th Kentucky Calvary, Company D during the Civil War. He was a private in the Union Army. He enrolled on Aug.13,1862 and was mustered in on Nov.17,1862 at Owensboro, KY. He was to serve 3 years but was discharged at Louisville, KY on Aug.31,1863 for disability. He was discharged for vascular heart disease, chronic pneumonia and loss of right forefinger. He adopted Oscar B. Leisure(b.1858),a brother to Mary Ann. He was 5'6 1/2" tall, dark complected, blue eyes and dark hair.
